World Release

World Release 2013 was truly incredible! It was fantastic to see so many TIGI Salons in attendance from all over the world and the atmosphere was electric.

The show started with a relaxed champagne reception, guests were invited to try delicious canapés, browse product stands and order the amazing new Masterbrand Collection book. The opening of the show was a fascinating retrospective of some of Anthony and the Creative Teams’ best looks from the past recreated for a high impact runway.

The first half also saw a live cutting demonstration hosted by Anthony Mascolo, Nick Irwin and Christel Lunqvuist. Andrew Collinge made a special guest appearance before the half time break and wowed the audience with his super-fast styling.

After a quick break where guests could choose from a selection of different world cuisines and of course more drinks, it was back to the second part of the show.

Dancers, music and models galore filled the catwalk and the room in a fantastic journey through time, with incomparable Avant Garde styling by the TIGI International Creative Team. The finale was a spectacular kaleidoscope of colour as models sported super-bright bob hairstyles to emphasise the creativity of TIGI copyright©olour. As the rainbow confetti came showering down, Anthony, Nick, Christel and the Creative Team were joined on stage by TIGI President Tom Monaghan who urged all the guests to remember TIGI’s mantra ‘By Hairdressers, For Hairdressers’.

The evening ended in true TIGI style with a huge party featuring live music performances and dancing into the night!
